ATLANTA — Criminals are using thermal imaging cameras to steal your PIN — right in front of you.
“I’m shocked. I’m actually shocked,” Bernadette Davis said. She uses her ATM card every day and didn’t realize how thieves could be using her body temperature against her.
A small thermal camera attaches to the back of an iPhone allows the user to take a picture of the heat coming off your body. The devices are so popular, when we checked, we found they were sold out at every location within 50 miles of Atlanta.
“When I looked at that I thought it was just a case on his phone, and it’s not! You can see everything,” Davis said…
